The 38th Annual

Black Excellence Awards

Event Details

The Black Excellence Awards honors 30 extraordinary African Americas in our city in the areas of Education, Arts, Culture, Religion, Business and so much more. And raises funds for the Louvenia Johnson Scholarship for 12 gifted, talented, and service-minded African American high school seniors going to college or trade schools.

Our Partners

The success of the Awards ceremony is due to a dedicated committee that has worked diligently and persistently to spotlight our honorees.

We most graciously thank our 38th Annual Awards co-sponsors: WISN-Channel 12, Reid’s Golden Gate Funeral Home and Cremation, Educators Credit Union, The Greater Milwaukee Urban League and Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin.
